Reward Your Staff

Some people like their work some people don’t like their work. For the people that don’t like their work your need to keep them motivating but you don’t want to ignore the people who are comitted, they might burn your building down if you ignore then.

To start most staff are only at work to earn money, so any money incentives are going to help people work harder and try more sales. You also need to make sure they are earning a wage that is competative to the industry. e.g. don’t pay a cleaner £25 a day when on average a cleaner earns £35 a day.

You should also provide treats such a dinner on a Friday, afternoon Friday beers and money behind the bar after work. The little points can often keep people at your work which is cheaper than recruitment of new people, remeber it’s all about money at the end of the day.
